Pebblewick welcomes new international shipping port
PEBBLEWICK, YORKSHIRE DALES, UK (September 23, 2025)—YourPort, a portfolio company of Sunk Capital, today announces that the construction of Pebblewick International Shipping Port (PISP) is officially complete. After a rapid period of development that included 17 deaths, the official opening ceremony took place in the tiny Yorkshire village on 16 September 2025.
Originally commissioned by Alfred Fletcher, 81, as a way to speed up the delivery of his model railway parts, the whole village will now benefit from the economic boost that a major international shipping port brings.
“I can never get my parts on time,” said Alfred. “Half of the time they are delayed, and I just can’t finish my models without them. Two weeks it took to get a set of miniature steam turbines! I very much look forward to having them brought directly to my home on a container ship.”

Alfred is excited for the possibilities brought by port ownership
Alfred took advantage of YourPort’s interest-free payment plan and, after seven years of construction, has contributed £2,341 toward the £19bn cost of the port.
Clint Topperman, Chief Executive Officer at YourPort, said, “This is a fantastic development for Pebblewick, and Yorkshire as a whole. In fact, when the international shipping port at Thwaite opens, Yorkshire will have two functioning international shipping ports within 40 miles of each other. The economic opportunities are endless.”
For all its success, the project had a shaky start with an initial refusal of planning permission by the local parish council. This issue was resolved to the satisfaction of all parties with the swift intervention of Barry Sunk, Chief Executive Officer at Sunk Capital.
“After many challenging rounds of negotiation, my legal team were able to persuade the Pebblewick parish council of the merits of a major international shipping port. I look forward to our ongoing collaboration,” Mr Sunk said.

Not everyone was happy about the construction of the new port. Pebblewick Mayor Bernard Harrison, disappointed at not receiving any financial kickbacks, cast doubt on the construction of a potential second port immediately next to the first port.
“One major international shipping port is enough for Pebblewick,” said Mr Harrison. “We can only tolerate the demolition of so many homes, roads, telephone lines, energy substations, public facilities, schools, medical centres, nature trails, fields, farms, and sites of natural beauty. We don’t mind the overwhelming noise and the constant spilling of industrial effluent, but if this continues then people will start to complain.”

In a completely different tone, Steven James, Councillor for the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, said, “This international shipping port is exactly what Yorkshire needs. The needs of local villagers for vast quantities of imported chemicals, minerals and crude oil cannot be understated. This new port will revitalise the local economy in so many ways.”

Councillor Steven James argues the new port will be a boon for locals

Our investment fund currently stands at $83 trillion, considerably larger than any of our “competitors”. The size of our fund comes through Barry’s accidental purchase of $25,920 worth of bitcoin in June 2010.
Since then, our investments have spanned the globe, and made Barry Sunk the world’s richest man in the process, owning 99% of Sunk Capital shares. We’re not sure who owns the remaining 1%.

Sunk Capital ETF Shares are not redeemable with the issuing Fund other than in very large, needlessly impractical aggregations. Instead, investors must buy and sell Sunk Capital ETF Shares in a quasi-tertiary market, which will happily take a commission to facilitate your questionable decisions. In doing so, the investor will incur brokerage commissions and will frequently pay more than net asset value when buying and receive less than net asset value when selling. We believe this is an essential part of the Sunk Capital experience.
All investing with Sunk Capital is subject to risk and the near-certainty of total capital loss on invested funds.
Diversification does not ensure a profit or protect against a loss. It merely ensures that you can lose your money across a wider, more varied spectrum of our collective ventures.
Our bond funds are subject to the absolute certainty that an issuer will fail to make payments on time, and that bond prices will plummet because of rising interest rates, or, more likely, because the market has correctly perceived our issuer’s inability to make a single payment.
Our “high-yield” bonds are so named because they are generally in the final stages of collapse. They are therefore subject to an inordinate level of credit risk. We cannot be held liable for anything we say, do or imply. Ever.
